What is CVE-2026-55583?

Twenty, an open-source CRM platform, was identified to have an insecure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerability prior to version 2.9.0. The flaw existed in the AI agent monitor component, specifically in the AgentTurnResolver. Due to improper validation, authenticated users, typically workspace owners, could exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive data across different workspaces on the same instance. Despite the protection that a workspaceId column provided, it was not utilized correctly in database queries. Consequently, attackers could retrieve full chat histories, including raw messages and tool outputs, simply by knowing certain identifiers. This serious security gap highlights the importance of tight access controls in multi-tenant applications and has been patched in version 2.9.0.
