What is CVE-2026-55610?

A security vulnerability in InvoiceShelf, an open-source web and mobile application, allows users designated as 'Owners' of one company to access, modify, and overwrite user accounts from other companies within the same installation. This occurs because the application's user policy fails to enforce proper scope checks, allowing for the global primary key to be utilized without validation of ownership against the target user. Consequently, this loophole enables cross-tenant data exposure, risking user credentials and facilitating potential account takeovers. The issue is resolved in version 2.4.1.
