What is CVE-2026-55835?

The Lookyloo web interface, which allows users to capture and navigate a website's domain hierarchy, suffers from an input validation vulnerability. An unauthenticated user can exploit this flaw through the '/json//report' API endpoint (CaptureReport) by manipulating email and comment parameters, inadvertently setting the 'as_admin' flag to True. This can trigger unintended search queries on a connected MISP instance, potentially overwhelming the service with requests and leading to denial-of-service conditions. The issue has been addressed in version 1.39.4.
