What is CVE-2026-56220?

An authorization bypass vulnerability in Capgo prior to version 12.128.2 enables read-only organization members to exploit the public.manifest INSERT policy. This allows unauthorized users to insert OTA manifest rows, thereby injecting malicious entries with arbitrary s3_path values. These entries can then be served to devices through the unauthenticated /updates endpoint, leading to potential OTA metadata poisoning and the risk of delivering malicious assets.
