What is CVE-2026-56230?

Capgo versions prior to 12.128.2 are vulnerable to a broken object level authorization issue in the middlewareKey() function. This vulnerability arises from the system’s failure to properly validate the ownership of the client-controlled x-limited-key-id header. As a result, authenticated users may exploit this weakness to adopt cross-tenant limited keys by providing another tenant's limited key ID. This allows unauthorized access to cross-tenant resources, potentially compromising sensitive information across multiple API endpoints.
