What is CVE-2026-56704?

A vulnerability exists in Adminer versions prior to 5.4.3, where unsanitized database server version strings are inserted into script tags accompanied by valid Content Security Policy (CSP) nonces. This flaw enables attackers controlling a malicious MySQL server to deliver crafted version strings that can escape the confines of the JavaScript context, potentially allowing for the execution of arbitrary code. This capability undermines existing Content Security Policy safeguards, posing a significant risk to systems utilizing the affected Adminer versions.
