What is CVE-2026-56728?

Zammad, an open-source helpdesk and customer support system, has a broken access control vulnerability in its GraphQL API prior to version 7.0.2. This flaw allows an authenticated user to access another user's taskbar items by sending specially crafted requests that include the target user's taskbar identifier. This compromises user data, as the taskbar contains transient state information, including auto-saved ticket drafts. The issue arises due to insufficient enforcement of authorization checks for accessing taskbar items, leading to potential unauthorized data access. The vulnerability was addressed and resolved in version 7.0.2.
