What is CVE-2026-56730?

Zammad, a web-based open-source helpdesk and customer support system, prior to version 7.0.2, contains an authorization bypass vulnerability. This issue allows an authenticated agent to access knowledge base content that they should not have the permission to view. The problem arises from a vulnerable GraphQL mutation which fails to adequately verify user authorizations against the specific knowledge base answer, focusing solely on whether the user has ticket.agent permission. As a result, this flaw exposes sensitive information, making it critical for users to update to version 7.0.2 or later to mitigate risks.
