What is CVE-2026-56834?

PraisonAI, a multi-agent system, has a vulnerability in its Dynamic Context Discovery feature that permits unauthorized access to files. Versions 3.8.1 to 4.6.58 allow potential exploitation as the software does not validate if the 'artifact_path' originates from the authorized artifact store or its base directory. This oversight enables malicious actors to access sensitive files, including project environment variables, cloud credentials, and SSH keys, if they can manipulate the arguments provided to artifact handling tools. The vulnerability was patched in version 4.6.59.

Affected Version(s)

PraisonAI >= 3.8.1, < 4.6.59
