What is CVE-2026-57133?

PraisonAI, a multi-agent teams system, is affected by a vulnerability where the shell() helper in versions 1.5.1 through 1.7.2 inadequately validates commands. This flaw allows an attacker to execute arbitrary commands by appending non-allowlisted commands to initially permitted commands due to improper handling of shell syntax. Such exploitation can occur under the process privileges of PraisonAI, exposing systems to potential malicious actions. Users should upgrade to version 1.7.2 or later to mitigate this risk.
