What is CVE-2026-57214?

The RabbitMQ management UI is susceptible to a security issue where it fails to properly escape the x-internal-purpose queue or exchange argument in the HTML title attribute. This vulnerability occurs on the Queues and Exchanges pages and can be exploited by authenticated users, allowing them to execute JavaScript code in the browsers of other users. This flaw is addressed in RabbitMQ version 4.2.5, which provides the necessary fixes to safeguard against this type of attack.
