What is CVE-2026-57866?

A Server Side Request Forgery vulnerability exists in Apache Impala versions 4.4.x and 4.5.x, which allows authenticated users with permission to execute the ai_generate_text() function to extract sensitive information from credential providers defined in the hadoop.security.credential.provider.path property of core-site.xml. The attacker must possess knowledge of the secret's key, posing a risk of data leakage and unauthorized access to secured resources.
