What is CVE-2026-57873?

An unauthenticated NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the IEEE8021x_upload.cgi component of GeoVision's GV-LPC2011 and GV-LPC2211 devices. This flaw arises from inadequate validation of multipart upload headers specifically related to certificate uploads. By crafting a malformed multipart request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability, leading to a crash of the affected CGI process and resulting in a denial of service, effectively disrupting the normal operation of these devices.
