What is CVE-2026-57874?

A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the IEEE8021x_upload.cgi component of GeoVision GV-LPC2011 and GV-LPC2211 devices, due to inadequate bounds checking while processing filename values in multipart upload requests. Attackers can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted upload request with excessively long input, which can lead to memory corruption and potentially cause a denial of service, disrupting normal functionality of the affected devices.
