What is CVE-2026-58013?
A buffer over-read vulnerability exists in the GLib library where a custom line terminator longer than one character can cause the function g_io_channel_read_line_backend() to read beyond the intended buffer size. This flaw manifests within the giochannel.c file and can lead to unexpected behavior such as minor information disclosure or denial of service if the over-read spans across memory page boundaries.
