What is CVE-2026-58205?

The GRR resource management and reservation application is susceptible to reflected cross-site scripting due to improper handling of the forcemaj parameter in maj.php. This allows attackers to construct malicious URLs that can execute arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser when accessed. As a result, this vulnerability can lead to serious security risks, including phishing attempts, redirection to harmful sites, cookie theft, and session hijacking, especially since the authentication cookie does not have the HttpOnly flag. This issue has been resolved in version 4.5.0.
