What is CVE-2026-58381?

A vulnerability exists in the GIMP image editor's parser for PSP file formats. In the read_layer_block() function, a double-free condition can occur when handling specially crafted PSP files. This flaw could enable an attacker to exploit memory corruption, resulting in a denial of service or potentially allowing arbitrary code execution on the affected system.
