What is CVE-2026-58478?

The Sustainable Irrigation Platform versions up to 5.2.16 expose a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability that can be exploited by unauthenticated attackers using a malicious callback URL when the optional Node-RED plugin is enabled. This flaw allows attackers to circumvent destination restrictions, leveraging the default passphrase 'opendoor' to initiate blurred HTTP requests to internal or external servers. Such requests can access resources that are not typically reachable, creating a significant security risk.

Affected Version(s)

SIP 0 <= 5.2.16

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
