What is CVE-2026-5904?

This vulnerability in Google Chrome allows an attacker to exploit a use after free condition in the V8 engine. If a user installs a malicious extension, it may lead to heap corruption, giving the attacker an opportunity to execute arbitrary code. Users are encouraged to update to version 147.0.7727.55 or higher to safeguard against potential attacks.
