What is CVE-2026-59190?

The Grav Plugin Admin, an HTML user interface for configuring Grav and managing pages, suffers from a significant security flaw. In the versions up to 1.10.52, an authenticated attacker with admin.users permission can exploit this flaw by sending a direct POST request to change passwords of any user account, potentially including super administrators. This occurs because the saveUser function inadequately authorizes the caller's permission, failing to verify if the user has rights to modify the targeted account. This vulnerability is anticipated to be remedied in the upcoming version 1.10.53.
