What is CVE-2026-59217?

Open WebUI, an extensible self-hosted AI platform, contains a vulnerability that allows users with read-only access to a knowledge base to upload arbitrary files without adequate write-access checks. The flaw exists in the file upload feature, particularly in the handling of metadata.
