What is CVE-2026-59261?

OpenClaw prior to version 2026.5.28 is susceptible to a credential exposure issue where workspace dotenv file settings may unintentionally override provider credentials. This vulnerability allows attackers with lower-trust access to input paths to potentially expose sensitive information and credentials that are meant to be secured within trusted environments. Proper access controls and security measures should be implemented to mitigate this risk.
