What is CVE-2026-59807?

The Composio SDK is affected by a path validation bypass vulnerability that allows malicious actors to read and exfiltrate sensitive files. This issue arises from the missing assertSafeFileUploadPath check in the readFileFromDisk function located in tool-file-uploads.ts. By exploiting prompt injection, attackers can manipulate file_uploadable parameters, enabling them to reference sensitive paths, including SSH private keys. This vulnerability can ultimately lead to the unauthorized uploading of credential files to storage controlled by attackers.

Affected Version(s)

composio 0 < 0.2.32-beta.283

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
