Session Management Flaw in djust by djust-org
CVE-2026-61592
7.4HIGH
What is CVE-2026-61592?
The session management vulnerability in djust allows attackers to exploit Server-Sent Events (SSE) sessions, which were previously keyed solely by a user-controlled session_id. This oversight enabled unauthorized access to the message endpoint, allowing attackers to execute event handlers with the victim's identity. The vulnerability has been resolved in version 1.0.7, which now ties each SSE session to its authenticated user, rejecting cross-principal access. Users are urged to upgrade to this version or temporarily disable SSE transport to mitigate risks.
