What is CVE-2026-61835?

Directus, a real-time API and application dashboard for managing SQL database content, has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users to bypass SSRF protections. Prior to version 12.0.0, the file-import-from-URL feature inadvertently permits access to local services through the address 0.0.0.0, which is treated as a keyword for local interfaces. This oversight enables users with file-upload rights to fetch internal resources via the /files/import endpoint, potentially exposing sensitive data. The issue has been rectified in version 12.0.0.
