What is CVE-2026-62186?

OpenClaw versions earlier than 2026.6.8 exhibit an authorization bypass flaw that affects HTTP model overrides designed for OpenAI compatibility. This vulnerability allows attackers with lower trust levels to circumstantially execute operations that are meant to be restricted through proper authorization controls. Essentially, misconfigured input paths can lead to the bypassing of essential admin-level authorizations, enabling unauthorized actions and posing significant security risks.
