What is CVE-2026-62233?

The Grav API Plugin prior to version 1.0.6 contains a vulnerability that enables a non-super admin user to escalate their privileges to super-admin. This flaw arises from inadequate validation of user roles in the createApiKey, generate2fa, and disable2fa endpoints. Malicious actors can exploit this weakness to create API keys linked to super-admin accounts or disable two-factor authentication for super-admin users, ultimately allowing them to take full control of the system.
