What is CVE-2026-62249?

An access control vulnerability exists in Weblate, a web-based continuous localization platform, that allows an authenticated user to retrieve the change history of restricted components. This occurs through nested API change endpoints that fail to enforce proper component-level access checks. As a result, users can access sensitive data related to components they should not have visibility into, including details such as identity, translation links, and content changes. This vulnerability has been addressed in version 2026.7.
