What is CVE-2026-6232?

An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the SPI host command interface of Semtech's LR11xx transceiver firmware. This flaw arises when a specially crafted SPI host command with an oversized length field is processed, potentially allowing the firmware to write up to 254 bytes beyond the confines of an internal, non-persistent memory buffer. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability necessitates physical access to the device and logical access to the SPI bus, presenting significant security risks.
