What is CVE-2026-62682?

The Orval library generates type-safe JavaScript clients from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Versions prior to 8.21.0 contain a vulnerability where unescaped input can result in malicious JavaScript being embedded in request URL templates. This issue arises when the output.baseUrl.getBaseUrlFromSpecification is enabled, allowing attacker-controlled JavaScript to execute in various environments, potentially leading to severe impacts on security. This flaw has been addressed in version 8.21.0 with safe encoding measures.
