What is CVE-2026-63399?

Roost's Coop, an open source review and moderation tool, contains a significant vulnerability in its GraphQL API prior to version 1.0.0. The 'Mutation.createOrg' operation allows an unauthenticated user to create arbitrary organizations on publicly accessible instances. This flaw not only clutters system logs but also lacks essential rate limiting, potentially leading to database exhaustion issues. To mitigate this vulnerability, it is recommended to operate the service within a secure authenticated private network and to update to version 1.0.0 or later.
