What is CVE-2026-63731?

The vulnerability in HyperDX prior to version 2.31.0 allows authenticated team members to exploit the server using a controlled host parameter to access arbitrary internal destinations. This is done via the ClickHouse proxy test endpoint, which lacks proper URL validation and allowlist enforcement. As a result, attackers could leverage reflected error responses from the endpoint to gain insights into internal service response bodies. Such exploitation can result in unauthorized access to internal APIs, container services, and cloud provider metadata endpoints, posing a significant security risk.

Affected Version(s)

hyperdx 2.0.0 < 2.31.0

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
