Denial of Service Vulnerability in SurrealDB by SurrealDB
CVE-2026-63737
7.1HIGH
What is CVE-2026-63737?
SurrealDB versions prior to 3.1.5 are susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability. Authenticated users can exploit this by sending malicious queries containing extensive chains of operators, which lead to unbounded expression trees. This scenario results in stack overflow during the processing of queries, ultimately crashing the server and interrupting service availability. Security measures should be taken to mitigate this risk.
