What is CVE-2026-6496?

A vulnerability exists in prasathmani TinyFileManager versions up to 2.6, specifically within the POST Parameter Handler found in the file /filemanager.php. This issue arises from inadequate input validation, allowing attackers to manipulate the 'file[]' parameter to perform path traversal attacks. As a result, an unauthorized user may access sensitive files on the server remotely. This vulnerability has been made public, and despite the vendor being contacted, they have not responded to the disclosure.
