What is CVE-2026-64969?

ATutor is exposed to a significant Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability affecting its profile picture management feature. Authenticated users, including students, can exploit this flaw by sending a manipulated POST request to the profile album endpoint with another user's member_id, resulting in the unauthorized and permanent deletion of that user's profile picture. This includes the images associated with instructors and administrators. As the product is no longer supported, users of version 2.2.4 are at risk, and no other versions have been evaluated for similar vulnerabilities.
