What is CVE-2026-65916?

CyberPanel versions up to 1.9.1 are susceptible to a missing authorization vulnerability in the cancelBackupCreation handler. This flaw permits authenticated users to manipulate backup processes of other tenants, including terminating backups, deleting archives, and corrupting status files. By crafting POST requests with arbitrary parameters, attackers can compromise the integrity of backup data and erase vital records within the affected database.
