What is CVE-2026-66053?

An improper validation vulnerability exists in the Apache Thrift Python bindings that could allow attackers to exploit certificate mismatch issues. This flaw affects versions prior to 0.24.0. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to version 0.24.0 or later to mitigate risks associated with this vulnerability. This issue has been recognized as a replacement for a previously identified CVE.
