What is CVE-2026-66098?

The Mira hormone monitor device firmware is susceptible to a vulnerability that allows a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) central to send an unauthorized 0x01 write command. This lack of authentication can lead to the device rebooting into bootloader mode unexpectedly. As a result, an attacker could potentially cause a denial-of-service condition, leading to significant interruptions in the device's ovulation tracking and fertility monitoring functionalities. This poses a risk not only to users relying on the device for fertility tracking but also compromises the overall security of their reproductive health data.
