What is CVE-2026-67296?

FreeRDP prior to version 3.29.0 is susceptible to a denial of service attack through the RDPEI server channel handler. The vulnerability arises due to improper validation of maximum Protocol Data Unit (PDU) body length, enabling a malicious RDP client to send a header-only RDPEI message with an exaggerated declared body length. This action can lead to excessive memory allocation on the server, potentially causing service disruptions and impairing normal operations.
