What is CVE-2026-67297?

FreeRDP versions prior to 3.29.0 are susceptible to a resource exhaustion vulnerability where the library fails to enforce the RESPONSE_SIZE_LIMIT when handling chunked HTTP responses. This oversight allows attackers controlling a malicious RD Gateway endpoint to send oversized chunked response bodies, which can potentially lead to client memory resource exhaustion, disrupting normal operation without triggering the predefined size limits in place.

Affected Version(s)

FreeRDP 0 < 3.29.0
