What is CVE-2026-67609?

An insecure sudoers configuration in Telenia Software TVox versions 26.5.3 and earlier (including 24.9.21 and prior) allows privileged elevation by users with access to the apache account. This loophole enables attackers to execute arbitrary commands as root without a password due to the NOPASSWD directive in /etc/sudoers.d/telenia. By exploiting this vulnerability, attackers can gain full access to the system, potentially leading to severe security breaches.

Affected Version(s)

TVox 26.0.0 <= 26.5.3

TVox 26.0.0 <= 26.5.3

TVox 24.0.0 <= 24.9.21

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
