What is CVE-2026-67863?

In version 1.5.5 of open62541, there exists a server-side use-after-free vulnerability in the local MonitoredItem callback process. This issue arises when UA_Subscription_localPublish attempts to access the current UA_Notification after the callback invokes UA_Server_deleteMonitoredItem for the active local MonitoredItem. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw to induce a denial of service, disrupting service availability.
