What is CVE-2026-7005?

WIT SynApps Runtime versions up to 1.4.11 are susceptible to a browser-mediated cross-origin request forgery issue. This vulnerability enables attackers to specify arbitrary target addresses during the controller onboarding process. As a result, victims' browsers can unknowingly send discovery requests to attacker-chosen hosts, potentially including sensitive local network resources. This breach effectively bypasses IT and OT segmentation, allowing the initiation of unintended communication flows and probing of internal systems through legitimate application pathways.

Affected Version(s)

SynApps Runtime 0 <= 1.4.11

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
