What is CVE-2026-7018?

A vulnerability has been identified in the Datavane Datavines product where an unknown function in the JWT Token Handler allows manipulation of the tokenSecret argument. This can result in the use of a hard-coded cryptographic key, posing serious security risks. The attack can be executed remotely and requires significant complexity, making it difficult to exploit. Although the vulnerability has been publicly disclosed, the project has not yet responded to reports of the issue, despite an early notification through a pull request.
