What is CVE-2026-70620?

The Odysseus platform, prior to commit 87babb5, is vulnerable to a server-side request forgery (SSRF) flaw that allows attackers with admin privileges to exploit the embedding endpoint configuration. This vulnerability permits the injection of arbitrary URLs without necessary validations, enabling attacks that can query internal network resources. Attackers can utilize loopback addresses, RFC 1918 ranges, or link-local addresses through the embedding endpoint API. This may lead to unauthorized access to sensitive metadata services of cloud instances, internal APIs, and other reachable hosts from the compromised server, increasing the risk of data exposure and service manipulation.

Affected Version(s)

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
