What is CVE-2026-71506?

Dolibarr prior to version 24.0.0 is susceptible to an improper authorization vulnerability within its payments REST API delete endpoint. This flaw enables authenticated users possessing rights to delete invoices to exploit a misconfigured permission check. As a result, attackers can effectively bypass checks meant to safeguard payment issuance rights, allowing them to permanently erase any payment record. This exploitation can lead to the manipulation of paid amounts on invoices and the removal of entries from accounting exports, jeopardizing the integrity of financial data.
