What is CVE-2026-71906?

Multiple models of the DrayTek VigorAP series exhibit a command injection vulnerability due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the setLan function. An attacker with valid administrative credentials can exploit this weakness by injecting malicious input into the lanIp and lanNetmask fields, enabling them to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on the device. This vulnerability poses significant risks, as it allows unauthorized remote access and manipulation of the device, making it crucial for users to secure their systems.
