What is CVE-2026-71924?

Multiple models in the DrayTek VigorSwitch series are impacted by a command injection vulnerability within the getVid function. This issue arises due to insufficient validation of input in the username and password fields prior to execution of commands. A malicious actor with access to valid administrative credentials can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted inputs, potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary commands with root privileges.
