What is CVE-2026-71928?
Multiple models of DrayTek VigorSwitch switch series are identified to have a command injection vulnerability within the fdftDevice function. This issue arises from inadequate filtering of inputs for the username and password fields before executing commands. An attacker with valid administrative credentials can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted inputs to execute arbitrary system commands with root privileges, potentially compromising the device's security and affecting the network infrastructure.
