What is CVE-2026-71952?

A command injection vulnerability exists in the /boafrm/formPinManageSetup interface of D-Link DWR-M961 devices with hardware version C1 and firmware version earlier than 1.1.5_C1_202607071108. This flaw allows a remote attacker to inject arbitrary commands through the 'oldPIn' field, which can lead to command execution with root privileges. Users are strongly advised to update their devices to the latest firmware version to mitigate this security risk.
